Teaching English Vietnam - Accommodation
The ESL teachers in Vietnam are mostly provided with accommodation by the schools. The schools will deduct 200 USD from the salary of the teachers if they provide them with accommodation. If they are unable to provide accommodation, they surely assist them in finding a right place for themselves. Like most oriental countries, the houses in Vietnam are quite small. The teachers are given apartments to stay in. Apartments are quite common in the cities where most of the teachers will be placed.
In the accommodations provided the teachers will have furniture, bed, telephone, television, bathrooms and a kitchen. The electric bill, phone bill or water bill will not be paid by the schools; it is a responsibility of the teachers.
