Salary Expectation for Teach English Jobs in Thailand

There are two kinds of salaries offered to the ESL teachers in Thailand.

There are two types of schools:

  1. Offers 30,000 THB per month ( approx 900 USD)

  2. Offers 25,000 THB per month (approx 750 USD) and 20,000 THB as flight fare reimbursement after end of the contract. The partial cost of the Business Visa will also be reimbursed

Personal Income Tax will be levied on the salaries.

The schools provide single accommodation free of cost of the teachers. It can be in an apartment or a shared house.

Accident and hospitalization more than 24 hours insurance is covered by the schools usually. Some schools do not provide medical coverage thus you need to get one yourself.

It is the responsibility of the school to get you a work permit.
